Abstract
The effect of the ratio of characteristic diode base dimensions to its height for a constant volume is determined. The effect of the shape o f the diode side surface on its resistance is investigated. Practical recommendations are proposed on the application of the obtained result s to design optimization of solid state components used in radiometric devices.
