J. Nishimura et al., BLOCK RENORMALIZATION WITHIN DYNAMICAL TRIANGULATION FORMALISM OF 2-DIMENSIONAL QUANTUM-GRAVITY, Progress of theoretical physics. Supplement, (114), 1993, pp. 19-22
We define a specific block renormalization within dynamical triangulat
ion formalism of two-dimensional quantum gravity. We apply it to surfa
ces with 400,000 triangles generated by Monte Carlo simulation and mea
sure loop length distribution and coordination number distribution. Th
e former preserves the universal scaling behavior in Ref. 1) without a
ny redefinition of the scaling parameter, while the latter converges t
o a certain distribution. These results strongly suggest the existence
of a fixed-point action.
