Abstract
The features of the high temperature cathodes used at INP installation s made of the following materials are presented: 1) LaB6, 2) eutectic LaB6-based alloys with ZrB2, HfB2 and TiB2, 3) IrCe and IrLa alloys. T heir lifetimes, vacuum operating conditions and poisoning are consider ed.
