Abstract
The semileptonic decay Lambda(c) --> Lambda lv is considered in the fr amework of heavy quark effectie theory beyond the leading order in the 1/m(c) expansion. According to our estimate, the polarization variabl e will receive only very small corrections such that alpha(Lambda c) l ess than or equal to -0.95.
