Abstract
A survey of possible model reduction methods is given for chaotic and other nonlinear systems. Problems specific to the model reduction of n onlinear systems are also presented. This area is important for provid ing relatively low order models of nonlinear phenomena for analysis, c ontrol design and control evaluation.
