Abstract
Synopsis. Transannular interaction between two aromatic rings in [2.2] metacyclophanes was estimated by the determination of the stability co nstants (K-s) for 18-crown-6 complexes with their diazonium salts. It was found out that the K-s is about 10 times as small as that for the corresponding benzenediazonium salt.
