Abstract
The contributions to the muon anomalous magnetic moment from hadronic vacuum polarization and from hadronic light-by-light scattering are re examined within the framework of chiral perturbation theory; the 1/N(c )-expansion; and the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model of low-energy Q CD.
