S. Mayer et al., DUAL CHIRAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM INVOLVING CYCLODEXTRIN DERIVATIVES IN CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS, The Journal of microcolumn separations, 6(1), 1994, pp. 43-48
An immobilized chiral stationary phase, Chirasil-Dex, coated onto the
inner 'surface of a 50 mu m i.d. capillary and cyclodextrin derivative
s added to the running buffer were simultaneously used for the study o
f enantiomer separations by capillary electrophoresis. Dependent on th
e cyclodextrin concentration in the mobile phase, a reversal of the el
ution order of enantiomers due to dual chiral recognition mechanisms w
as observed.
