Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4-delta has been prepared from a diethylamine medium by
the hydroxide coprecipitation method. A theoretical estimate of the c
onditions necessary for hydroxide coprecipitation and a preliminary ch
aracterization of the properties of the electron-doped cuprate, obtain
ed after high-temperature treatment, are reported.
