Abstract
A novel piezoelectrically adjustable array of mirrors is proposed for large large reflector antenna surface distortion compensation. As comp ared to the conventional approach with variable phase shifters and amp litude feed array, significantly lower rf loss, mass, and cost reflect or antennas can be achieved with this innovative approach.
