Abstract
The FDTD method is applied for the theoretical analysis of a new pulse -forming optoelectronic device. Because of a capacitive structure a ph otoconductive pulse characterized by a fast rise and a long tail, is d erived and provides an ultrashort electrical pulse. (C) 1997 John Wile y & Sons, Inc.
