Abstract
Arsenic was extracted with 60% nitric acid from samples collected at 1 5-cm intervals in a 90-cm sediment profile at Pontevedra Estuary (N.W. Spain). The sediment is highly contaminated with arsenic. As(III) and As(V) contents were selectively determined at different pH conditions by AAS-HG.
