Abstract
This paper presents results from the High Efficiency Solar Panel Exper iment (HESP) flown on the Combined Release and Radiation Effects Satel lite (CRRES). The on-orbit solar cell degradation is correlated with t he proton and electron environments. Comparisons between gallium arsen ide germanium (GaAs/Ge) and silicon (Si) solar cells are presented, an d results from three different annealing methods of like GaAs solar ce lls are compared.
