Abstract
Photorefractive properties of a cerium-doped strontium barium niobate single crystal (Sr0.61Ba0.39Nb2O6) are investigated with Q-switched li ght pulses (wavelength 532 nm). Pyroelectric fields are the dominant c harge driving force and significantly enhance light-induced refractive -index changes.
