Abstract
A novel and noninvasive technique has been developed for the measureme nt of fundamental and harmonic S-parameters as functions of input freq uency and power. The advantage of this technique was demonstrated on a GaAs field-effect transistor by plotting its drain current vs. voltag e characteristic at 5 GHz, which clearly shows the origin of its nonli nearity.
