Abstract
The theory for the exciton magnetoluminescence in GaAs/AlAs superlatti ces is presented. We find the energies of the exciton states, taking i nto account an additional exchange splitting, caused by the symmetry r eduction from D2d to C2v. We show that measurements of the luminescenc e polarization allow to choose between the alternative models of this splitting.
