Abstract
Experimental and theoretical results are presented on the nuclear pump
ing of XeBr. Measurements under B-10 and He-3 pumping showed fluoresc
ence efficiencies of 1% +/- 0.5% for the B-X emission. Detailed time-d
ependent kinetic modeling was not in agreement, with predicted efficie
ncies of order 8%-9%.
