Abstract
We derive kaonic-atom optical potentials in finite nuclei microscopica lly by taking into account the K-NLAMBDA(1405) and K-NSIGMA(1385) inte ractions. Using the microscopic optical potentials we solve kaonic ato ms with the Klein-Gordon equation in momentum space and obtain the kao nic-atom level shifts and the widths. The experimental data are reprod uced well. We discuss also phenomenological optical potentials and com pare them with the microscopic ones. In addition, we derive optical po tentials in the local-density approximation with the use of the finite -matter kaon self-energy. We find a similarity with the microscopic op tical potential derived with finite geometry.
