Vn. Yartsev et Da. Zhukov, HYDROCORTISONE ADMINISTRATION ENHANCES VESSEL CONTRACTILITY IN KOLTUSHI LOW-AVOIDANCE, AND KOLTUSHI HIGH-AVOIDANCE RATS, Experientia, 50(2), 1994, pp. 105-106
The contractility of tail artery rings was investigated in rats psycho
genetically selected for rapid (KHA) and slow (KLA) acquisition of an
avoidance response in the shuttle box. The vessel contractility was gr
eater in the KHA rats. Hydrocortisone administration enhanced vessel c
ontractility in both strains.
