Abstract
The reaction between [V(CO)(6)](-), halogens, phosphines and alkynes y ields the complexes trans-[HaIV(CO)(2)(PR(3))(2)(alkyne)], which have been characterized by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. The struct ure of the title compound has been determined by a single crystal X-di ffraction study.
