Cm. Williams et al., THE MAGNETIC AND STRUCTURAL-PROPERTIES OF PULSED-LASER DEPOSITED EPITAXIAL MNZN-FERRITE FILMS, Journal of applied physics, 75(3), 1994, pp. 1676-1680
The magnetic and structural properties of pulsed laser deposited MnZn-
ferrite films have been examined. The results show that the uniaxial a
nisotropy, ferromagnetic resonance linewidth and coercive force are st
rongly influenced by the microstructure of the films, and the saturati
on magnetization and first-order magnetocrystalline anisotropy constan
t depend on intrinsic properties such as composition and cation site o
ccupation. A comparison of bulk and film magnetic properties shows tha
t the magnetic properties of the films are comparable to the bulk, whi
ch makes pulsed laser deposition ferrite films a prime candidate for t
hin film high-frequency microwave device applications.
