Abstract
We study the thickness of the film entrained on a fibre quickly withdr awn out of a liquid bath. Important deviations from the Landau-Levich law are observed. Two different regimes are successively found and dis cussed. The first one is explained by considering inertia, and the sec ond one is shown to be a boundary layer effect.
