Abstract
We describe the chemical preparation and crystal structure of a mixed calcium-potassium cyclodecaphosphate: Ca4K2P10O30.16H(2)O. This compou nd is orthorhombic, Pna2(1), with Z = 4 and the following unit-cell di mensions: a = 14.773(2), b = 15.758(3), c = 19.9141(2) Angstrom. This salt presents a strong pseudo-centrosymmetry.
