Abstract
Continuously tunable UV laser operation of cerium-doped LiSrAIF6 (Ce3:LiSAF) between 285 and 297nm is demonstrated. At the peak operating w avelength of 290nm, output energies of 1.3 mJ with slope efficiencies of 17% have been obtained.
