Abstract
During the resection of the intrathoracic trachea by the transsternal approach, the ascending aorta, because of its anatomic position, imped es visualization. Herein, we report a technique that allows excellent exposure of the entire intrathoracic trachea, thereby facilitating thi s procedure.
