Abstract
Internal jugular vein thrombosis in association with ovarian hyperstim ulation syndrome. Seve, e ovn,ian hyperstimulation syndrome is a rare complication of assisted reproductive technologies. It presents with m assive ovarian enlargement, fluid accumulation in peritoneal, pleural cavities and thromboembolic diseases. The authors report an exceptiona l case of internal jugular vein thrombosis in an ovarian hyperstimulat ion syndrome. Pathogenesis of this event is discussed.
