Abstract
More than 80 % of acrometastasis occur at the terminal stage of metast atic disease, when only symptomatic treatment is indicated; The patien t reported herein developed a metastasis in the capitatum as the first manifestation of cancer, probably located to the lungs, although CUP syndrome could not be ruled out. Because prolonged survival was concei vable, reconstructive carpal surgery was performed.
