Abstract
The MR findings of a biopsy-proved case of primary anglitis of the cen tral nervous system are described and compared with previously reporte d cases. Multiple punctate and linear areas of gadopentetate dimeglumi ne enhancement were present in the brain stem and white matter and app ear to correspond to the inflammatory reaction of the small perforatin g vessels and perivascular tissues seen in the pathologic specimen.
