Abstract
An X-ray diffraction study of mu-oxalatobis(tricyclohexyltin) has reve aled the presence of two symmetry-independent molecules, each of which contains a pair of tin atoms in an isomeric cis-, trans-C3SnO2 trigon al bipyramidal configuration arising from the quadridentate (chelating and bridging) behavior of the oxalato ligand.
