Abstract
In generating quadrature squeezed light with a fibre ring reflector, t he pump light crosstalk should be minimized to achieve the sub-shot no ise levels. The output noise of the homodyne detector, whose signal li ght is the squeezed light with non-zero amplitude, is analysed theoret ically and experimentally for the first time. The requirement for the fibre coupler to generate the squeezed light is derived.
