Abstract
The mechanical properties of various various polymer concrete (PC) sys tems using unsaturated polyester resins based on recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic waste were evaluated. Resins using recycl ed PET offer the possibility of a lower source cost of materials for m aking useful PC products. Also, the recycling of PET in PC would help solve some of the solid waste problems posed by plastics and save ener gy.
