In the present work we report the study of magnetic susceptibility and
lattice parameter measurements of CeNiInHx system with x= 0.0, 0.5. 0
.6, 0.67, 0.75, 1.0 and 1.6. It has been revealed that the occurrence
of paired arrangement of proton in the host material is associated wit
h the electronic phase: change of CeNiIn system accompanied with a dra
stic change in the lattice parameters.
