Abstract
The effect of Platinum (II) complexes with mercaptopyridines on cell l ines (fibroblasts 3T3 and the tumour ones F1O, Fohn, Love) were studie d. Synthesis and characterization of the compounds are reported togeth er with the preliminary in vitro tests. Data obtained on cytopathogeni c effect (CPE), cell growth and colony forming ability demonstrated th at all the platinum mercaptopyridines tested are more active than cisp latin in the same conditions.
