Abstract
An aqueous extract of Lepidium latifolium L. given orally and intraper itoneally considerably enhanced urinary excretion (UV) in rats with re spect to control groups. A slight increase in ion excretion was also o bserved. Other parameters such as specific gravity, nitrite, pH, gluco se, ketone bodies, urobilinogen, and blood were also studied. A good c orrelation for the dosage rat/man for the aqueous extract was achieved .
