L. Balaguer et al., COEXISTENCE OF SEROTONIN AND CHOLECYSTOKININ IN PARANEURONS OF THE FETAL SHEEP LUNG, Histology and histopathology, 9(1), 1994, pp. 49-51
The coexistence of serotonin and cholecystokinin was studied in foetal
sheep lungs at pseudoglandular stage of development by light microsco
pic immunohistochemistry. The coexistence was examined by staining con
secutive sections with the different antibodies. Serotonin and cholecy
stokinin immunoreactivity was found within consecutive sections of mos
t bronchopulmonary neuroepithelial bodies and in consecutive sections
of the same intrapulmonary autonomic ganglia.
