Abstract
We compare the Fermi liquid (FL) and statistical spin liquid (SSL) rep resentations of the electronic properties for strongly correlated syst ems. In particular, we discuss the entropy, as well as the magnetizati on as a function of band filling, temperature and magnetic field. Thes e properties are quite different in the two (FL, SSL) states. Antiferr omagnetic state disappears for a small number of holes in the doped Mo tt insulator.
