Alternative responses of equal ripple are presented here for designing
a screen based on analytical formulas for the multiple electric and m
agnetic Salisbury screen. This screen has an increase in the bandwidth
over the known maximally flat responses. Both the equal ripple and ma
ximally flat designs of two and three-layered screen have been taken h
ere for use in applications. These have included the appropriate value
s for spacer materials and screen properties for analysing the reflect
ion properties of the screens.
