Abstract
New thermostable heterocyclic polymers containing phenyl-substituted q uinoxiline and imide rings as well as flexible amide and ester groups have been synthesized by law temperature solution polycondensation of a diaminophenylquinoxaline, containing preformed ester groups with dia cid chlorides of certain aromatic acids containing imide rings. The th ermal stability of these polymers is discussed and compared with relat ed heterocyclic polymers.
