Abstract
The self-ignition delays for the spontaneous explosion of propylene - air gaseous mixtures are measured by admission method in vessels with different inner diameters. The experimental data have been used for ca lculation of the overall kinetic parameters. The observed self-ignitio n delays dependence versus vessel diameter may find its explanation wi thin the framework of the thermal explosion theory.
