Objective: To report two cases of an axonal motor polyradiculoneuropat
hy associated with human immunodeficiency virus infection in otherwise
asymptomatic subjects. Design: Case series. Setting: Tertiary care ho
spital neurology inpatient service. Results: Electrophysiologic testin
g showed acute denervation with almost normal sensory potentials and n
o evidence of demyelination. Conclusions: These cases present an examp
