J. Stoelwinder et al., DIFFERENTIAL BINDING AND DOPAMINE UPTAKE ACTIVITY OF COCAINE ANALOGS MODIFIED AT NITROGEN, Bioorganic & medicinal chemistry letters, 4(2), 1994, pp. 303-308
Syntheses of a variety of new N-modified cocaine analogues are reporte
d together with their binding affinities and dopamine uptake inhibitio
n activities. Compounds 3 and 13, which exhibit discrepancies in their
binding and uptake potencies, were tested for their ability to antago
nize cocaine's inhibition of dopamine reuptake.
