T. Romer et al., CONSERVATIVE MANAGEMENT OF A POST-ABLATIO N SYNDROME AFTER TRANSCERVICAL ENDOMETRIAL ABLATION, Geburtshilfe und Frauenheilkunde, 57(1), 1997, pp. 43-45
A post-ablation syndrome occurring 9 months after transcervical ''roll
er ball'' endometrial ablation was reported. A cavity with fluid conte
nt in the right tubal cornua that caused pelvic pain, was coagulated a
fter adhesiolysis. 18 months after treatment the patients is free from
symptoms. This long-term complication of transcervical endometrial ab
lation must be given attention and may be treated conservatively.
