Abstract
Several fluorite samples from Amba Dungar in the Gujarat state, have b een studied in order to identify the colour centres and the rare-earth s, in an attempt to pinpoint the centres responsible for particular co lours and Thermoluminescence (TL) emission. The present study would be useful for investigating their TL properties as well as in providing a reliable chronology to these fluorites.
