ELTAepsilon = epsilon0 - epsilon(infinity) in a limited range of frequ
ency around the relaxation frequency for the Cole-Cole relaxation has
been evaluated for three liquid crystals, namely cholesteryl chloride,
N-(p-ethoxybenzylidine)-p-butylaniline (EBBA) and solid phase N-(2)-h
ydroxy-4-methoxybenzylidine)-p-butylaniline (OHMBBA). The relaxation i
ntensity has been expressed in terms of the dielectric loss maxima eps
ilon(M)'' and the frequency separation W for half, two third or three
quarters of epsilon(M)'' in the form DELTAepsilon = epsilon(M)''/[C1/W
+ C2 + C3 W]. The numerical constants C1, C2 and C3 are given for the
respective types of relaxation.
