Abstract
Two silicate glasses with different compositions have been investigate d by combining conventional small-angle X-ray scattering with methods of contrast variation (anomalous dispersion, neutron scattering). It h as been shown that in a base glass for glass ceramics TiO2 additives w hich accelerate the process of phase separation are inhomogeneously di stributed in the glass and cover the separating droplet phase. The inf luence of WO3 and MoO3 on the conditions of the phase separation in a soda-lime-silica glass mainly consists in a shift of the miscibility d ome in the phase diagram up to higher temperatures.
