Abstract
The scattering function S(q) has been computed for simulated fractal a ggregates using off-lattice cluster-cluster models. The curve log S(q) versus log q goes through a broad minimum followed by damped oscillat ions at large q values. These simulations are compared with experiment al SANS results on colloidal silica aerogels. The agreement between si mulations and experiments is qualitatively good.
