Abstract
The critical current j(c) and the pinning energy U(c) have been determ ined for three types of yttrium-based superconducting films from curre nt j(s) and dynamic relaxation Q-dlnj(s)/dln(dB/dt) data by means of t he generalized inversion scheme. For B < 2 T and T < 80 K the temperat ure dependence of j(c) and U(c) for all films is found to be in excell ent agreement with a model of single vortices pinned by randomly distr ibuted weak pinning centers via spatial fluctuations of the charge car rier mean free path. Pinning due to spatial fluctuations of T(c) is no t observed.
