Abstract
Predictions of local density functional (LDF) calculations of the elec tronic structure and transport properties of high T(c) superconductors are reviewed. As evidenced by the excellent agreement with photoemiss ion, de Haas-van Alphen and positron annihilation experiments, the Fer mi liquid nature of the ''normal'' state of the high T(c) superconduct ors becomes clear for the metallic phase of these oxides.
