Abstract
We present new observations of the short-period Algol XZ Canis Minoris made between 1992 December 25 and 1993 March 1. Two new epochs of min imum light were determined and an improved ephemeris is given. Analysi s of the observations with the latest version of the Wilson-Devinney p rogram shows that the system is semidetached. Our solution does not in dicate the presence of third light, whereas some previously published solutions required large amounts of third light.
