Abstract
Ten soil samples are tested for total carbon content by the dry combus tion method on nine automatic analyzers. Four samples of carbonate soi ls are tested for inorganic carbon content by chemical and instrument methods. Methods of determining the content of total, organic, and ino rganic carbon on an AN-7529 automatic analyzer in carbonate and noncar bonate soils were developed, modified, and certified.
